YANTU - Rowing around Denmark for cleaner seas

I met Christian Havrehed and Lars Gabe in Odden harbour during a trip to Denmark.
For the first time in Denmark's history, they are rowing an ocean rowing boat around the Danish coast in 34 days and 1,500 km.
Sea kayaks and even a SUP have done it before, but never rowing boats. One of the rowers has already made rowing history when Christian became the first Dane to row around an ocean in 2001.

The row around Denmark for cleaner seas project is a call to action for partner environmental organisations to have their members collect rubbish from beaches during the row.
The collection of rubbish gives the row a greater significance, as the amount of rubbish collected and the number of people involved in the collection is much greater than what the rowers would be able to do on their own.
